June is Christian Pride Month
The First Baptist Church of Lady Lake is starting a new tradition by celebrating Christian Pride Month in June. Our founding fathers knew that the only way a country like the United States could last was to be based on a set of moral standards that are greater than each of us – that have been ordained by God. Christian beliefs were the most influential intellectual influence on the founding of our Nation, reflected in both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Our founders were in universal agreement that religious liberty is a right that must be protected.
While America did not have a Christian Founding in the sense of creating a theocracy, its Founding was deeply shaped by Christian moral truths. Unlike what revisionists historians are trying to teach our young children, the United States was not founded to promote slavery – it was founded to promote freedom of religion.
This month-long celebration is to demonstrate Christian Americans have strengthened our country, by using their talent and creativity to help create awareness and goodwill.

What is a Church?
The church is God’s people and God’s Family. At First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, we never forget that each of us are part of God’s larger family.
Sunday Worship Service Starts at 10am
Wednesday Prayer Service Starts at 7pm
Many fellowship and other activities are currently suspended due to the coronavirus emergency.
What Do We Teach?
With the Bible as our text for life, everything we teach and preach reveals, explains, and applies the Bible to our personal experiences as we seek to live for the Lord in the world around us. Our emphasis is on accuracy and practicality.
We encourage families to come andgrow with us! We have many opportunities for children including Sunday Children’s Church, a Wednesday Evening Word of Life Program and Sunday School programs before our weekly service.
What Are Our Core Values?
As Christians, our values must align with the Word of God, the Bible. These must include what we do, as expressed in the Bible.
We love travellers, guests and “snowbirds.” Feel free tto call us with any questions you may have before you arrive.
